THE £5million landmark refurbishment of a Renfrew primary school has been officially completed.
Delighted pupils at Kirklandneuk primary have already enjoyed their first lessons in the redesigned and refurbished school - part of an overall £20m investment by Renfrewshire Council in Renfrew's schools.
The modernisation of Kirklandneuk Primary School saw the building extended and the school completely redesigned, with features including a new dining room, changing facilities, an administration corridor, and a parent-run library.
Pupils were decanted to the former Moorpark Primary building in October 2010 to allow the work to be carried out, and the children are now happily settling back into their newly upgraded surroundings.
The old Moorpark Primary building will now be demolished, with the St James' Campus - featuring a new St James' Primary School, community facilities and a nursery - to be built in its place.
