Print | Email

The devastated parents of a Johnstone drug dealer are urging others who are peddling in the evil trade to think again - after their family was torn apart.

Speaking from his cell in Greenock Prison Kevin Ashcroft told his mum and dad that he was sorry for destroying their lives.

He added: 'I just want to get my head down and do my time then come out and get on with my life.'

Shattered mum Janet has been off work since her son"s conviction last week.

The 45-year-old mother-of-three said: 'I have cried a river. There are no more tears left."
