CHEQUE: Irene meets Alan and Hugh

BUILDING contractor Project Management & Construction has boosted the funds of Erskine veterans charity.

RAF veteran Irene Adam met the firm's Alan Cockburn and his colleague Hugh Jamieson when they visited the home in Bishopton to handover the bumper cheque for £1,500.

The funds, raised with the help of the firm's customers and contractors, at the company's annual Ceilidh at Bowfield Country Club, will help support the care of over 1,300 ex-Service men and women each year.

Lesley Miller, Erskine's deputy head of Fundraising said: 'It is wonderful to be able to show Alan and Hugh how much their donations benefit our country's ex-Service men and women.

"Project Management & Construction are very generous supporters of Erskine and, in particular, the Erskine Military Ball.  It is clearly important to them to be good corporate citizens - and we can't thank them enough for all their kindness.'
