Colin McLaren was last seen by his wife at home in Barterhome Road at around 8am on Sunday, August 31.

The 63-year-old is described as white, around 5 ft 10 inches in height, stocky build and with grey hair.

It’s believed he may be wearing navy coloured jogging trousers with brown leather shoes, although it’s not known what top he is wearing.

Cops said said Colin has recently been dealing with some “personal issues” but it was completely out of character for him not to be in contact with his family.

Officers have been carrying out extensive enquiries to try and trace Colin however; all attempts to locate him have so far proved unsuccessful.

Sergeant Paul Harkins said: “Colin’s wife and son are extremely concerned for him, we are checking CCTV and contacting friends, it’s possible he may have headed to the Baillieston area and enquiries are being carried out in that area. Colin doesn’t appear to have any possessions with him.

“If anyone has any information about Colin or his whereabouts, please get in touch with police as a matter of urgency.” Anyone with information is asked to contact officers at Paisley Police Office on the non emergency police number, 101.
