Colin McLaren was reported missing from wife after he disappeared from their home in Barterhome Road at around 8am on Sunday, August 31.
Police launched a hunt to find the 63-year-old after they received information that Colin had been dealing with some “personal issues.” However, much to the relief of his family, yesterday cops confirmed he was safe and sound and thanked the public for their assistance.
A Police Scoyland spokesman said. “Mr McLaren was traced safe and well and has returned home.
“Members of the public and the media are thanked for their assistance.”
