Joining Bridge of Weir Leather Company in 1967 as a 16-year-old fresh from school, Paisley resident Andrei Poppof has now retired.
Across the decades, leather worker Andrei has worked mainly in the pre-finishing department incorporating traditional leather softening and enhancing processes.
Commenting on Andrei’s retirement after four decades, managing director Karen Marshall said: “It’s with heavy hearts we say goodbye to Andrei.
“He has been a committed, hardworking and loyal member of our team for so long.
“All at Bridge of Weir will miss him and wish him a long, healthy and happy retirement.”
