Two cars were vandalised after being left overnight in Houston town centre.
One of the cars, a black Vauxhall Corsa, was parked at the Fox and Hounds bar and restaurant in South Street from 8pm on March 27.
After leaving the car overnight, two men made an attempt to get in and steal the vehicle some time after 3am.
The suspects entered the car through the door and damaged the dashboard area and windscreen.
CCTV footage appears to show two men who tried a number of car doors before the Corsa.
Another car, a 10 plate BMW1 black series, was also damaged around the same time near the Fox and Hounds.
The suspects jumped on the roof causing dents, scratches and cracked paintwork.
Both incidents are linked as they took place in the same place and around the same time.
Police are urging anyone who may have been in Houston South Street at that time to come forward with any information.
