HUNDREDS of revellers are set to descend on Bridge of Weir for the hotly anticipated gala day.
While the big event will be on Saturday, June 10, there will be a week of festivities to follow.
For the main event, the gala day parade will set off from the Cargill Hall at 12pm to arrive in Houston Road Park to crown the Gala Queen.
The ceremony will be at 12.45pm. The queen will declare the Gala Day open at 1pm.
The theme for this year’s event is Commotion in the Ocean.
Other entertainment lined up for the week-long festival includes the gala praise, which will take place on Sunday, June 11 at 7pm at St Machar’s Ranfurly Church.
Gryffe Voices will host An Evening of Songs on Monday, June 12 from 8pm at the Freeland Church. It is free to attend.
The following day will see the football fiesta take place at Moss Road Park from 6.30pm.
Families can attend the Hope Hall fun night on Wednesday, June 14 from 6.30pm to 8pm at Moss Road Park or Hope Hall if it is wet weather.
Senior citizens can attend an afternoon tea on Thursday, June 15 at The Pirie Centre, Freeland Church from 2pm to 3.30pm, which costs £2.
On Thursday, June 15 from 7.30pm, the festival prize bingo will take place at Royal British Legion Scotland, cost £2.
The festival ceilidh will round off the week of fun on Saturday, June 17 from 7.30pm till late at Royal British Legion Scotland.
Entry is by ticket only which costs £10 including a light buffet. The minimum age is 13 and all under 18s must be with an adult.
