A LOCHWINNOCH youngster has been immortalised as a cartoon character thanks to her animated answers for a competition.
Nine-year-old Morgan Gallacher - who said that her superpower of choice would be to 'change my hands into kitchen utensils in a flash' - is set to become a mini celebrity.
Her cartoon alter ego will star on the new Kids' Menu at local restaurant Table Table - and its 110 sites across the UK - after she won their Phoenix Park Menu Stars competition.
The restaurant was searching for six children to become a cast of characters on the new menus and activity packs.
The St Anthony's Primary pupil caught the attention of judges by her entertaining answers to a series of questions about herself. And the lucky youngster won not only the chance to be animated into a cartoon star, along with five others, but a Nintendo DS games console as well.
Morgan, whose character takes the guise of a cheerleader, said: "It was great fun to be animated into a cartoon character.
"I think my animation looks really cool and I can't wait to see myself on the Kids' Menu in the Phoenix Park."
The youngster's personality was reflected in her animated alter ego which shows her dressed in her favourite outfit - a cheerleading costume.
She also told judges that her favourite thing about living in Lochwinnoch is 'everyone looks out for each other', and that she should be a Menu Star because 'I could show kids how fun and easy it is to cook great fabulous food in no time'.
While she dislikes 'tidying my room' and 'maths homework', her favourite hobbies are 'dancing, basketball, singing, shopping'.
Lisa Bradley, general manager at the Phoenix Park Table Table, said: "Our kids' menu is very popular with our younger diners and we are excited to see our six cartoon stars starring on our new Kids' Menu.
"We think that the animations are fantastic and reflect the personalities of our winners."
Table Table launched in 2008 and now has over 100 restaurants nationwide.
