POLICE are re-appealing for information as a man who attacked four women remains at large.
The robber has targeted the women around the Elderslie area in the last six weeks.
He has repeatedly approached his victim from behind - snatching her handbag before running off.
Police have described the attacker as male, between the ages of 17 and 22, strawberry blonde hair with a slim build.
It is also suspected that he could be a drug addict.
A police spokesperson said: "We are appealing for information about anything at all that could help us.
"We are still working really hard on this case - he has to be stopped."
The latest attack happened last Tuesday morning in Fulbar Road near to the ALDI supermarket.
A 39-year-old woman was knocked to the ground as the man grabbed her handbag and made off towards Elderslie.
Detectives now believe that he lives in or around the village area.
The Tuesday before a 43-year-old woman was walking along the Main Road near to Newton Terrace when she was attacked.
The woman fell to the ground as the man snatched her handbag and again ran off.
Despite a search of the area which also combined combing the cycle track with police dogs and officers could not trace her attacker.
On Tuesday April 6 a 65-year-old year old woman was walking passed Elderslie Swimming Pool when she was targeted.
As he grabbed her bag the pensioner tried to fight back but when the strap broke she fell backwards hitting her head on the ground.
The robber ran off towards the lane at the golf course where her handbag was later found.
Luckily the woman didn't require hospital treatment and was taken home by police.
The first attack happened two weeks before on Tuesday March 23 in Lexwell Avenue in Elderslie.
A 69-year-old woman was taken to hospital with a broken wrist when the man pushed her to the ground and ran off with her handbag.
Last week detectives admitted that they are concerned that his next victim could be seriously hurt and are urging the public to help them with their investigation.
