COULD you be the next top model?
Are you a catwalk star of the future?
If so, do not miss out on our forthcoming competition that promises top prizes for our Face of 2010.
Teaming up with Silverburn this is the contest for girls and guys aged 16-25 looking for a career in the fashion industry. The winner and two runners-up are guaranteed their place in Silverburn's top fashion event on September 25 and will get the chance to strut down the catwalk in the hottest collections.
And the winner will also take part in their very own fashion shoot after being treated to a mega makeover - perfect for aspiring models looking to add something special to their portfolio.
Local girl Marlies Roland - who is set to hit the big time after being named as the only Scottish finalist in a London based search with Storm Models - has given the thumbs up to the competition.
She said: "It is a great opportunity so everyone should get involved and have fun with it."
At the tender age of 17, Marlies is strides ahead of her competitors and her advice to anyone wanting to take part: "You should definitely get involved - when I tried out modelling I didn't think it would go anywhere but I had such a brilliant time.
"Even if you don't think you have a shot come along and get involved - it will be worth it!"
To take part, entrants should pop along to Silverburn on August 19, 20 or 21 where our team will be waiting to take your photograph.
Simply fill out the form in this week's Gazette and Barrhead News and bring it along with you on the day. Once we have taken photographs of all our entrants every single picture will appear along with a voting number. It is then up to the public to vote for their favourite and the three finalists will take part in the fashion show.
So, if you think you've got what it takes look out in the Gazette Series next week for more information on how to enter and what prizes you could win.
