The body of Bernadette Moran was discovered by her horror-struck pal at a house near the village’s Main Road.
It is believed the 35-year-old had been complaining of feeling ill before she slipped away in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Police yesterday described the death as an “unexplained tragedy” and said enquiries are being made over her death.
