Friends Pauline Marshall and Karin McColl, of Johnstone, and pal Jamie Simpson, of Kilmacolm, were moved to raise money for Cancer Research UK after losing loved ones to the terminal illness.
Scores of people packed into Paisley’s Priorscroft Bowling Club on Friday night, resulting in £862 being raised for the charity.
The friends are also taking part in Pretty Muddy - a 5,000 metre obstacle course - on Saturday, September 13, to raise even more cash for the charity.
