Young cooking connoisseurs from P1-P7 made an array of cakes using Fairtrade products and sold them to fellow pupils, staff and parents.
Their efforts raised around £450 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Elaine Cameron from the school praised the children and their parents for supporting the event.
She said: “It was a huge success.
“We were very well supported by all the parents who attended and submitted baking for the stalls.
“We were also supported by staff from the local Co-op store in the village, who donated Fairtrade products.” More than 100 parents came along on the day to sample the mouthwatering home baking on offer.
A baking competition was also held on the day.
Elaine added: “The cakes were very diverse.
“We had Cookie Monster cupcakes from the children’s show Sesame Street and tablet made from Fairtrade products.”
