Lynn Telfer and her future husband Ronnie Gill, from Brookfield, hope to lure the Take That singer to perform when they tie the knot at Boturich Castle, Loch Lomond, in July this year.

If their dream is realised it will be exceptionally special moment for Lynn, who became a widow after she lost her first husband when he suffered a sudden heart attack aged just 52.

Bill Telfer passed away in May 2010, leaving Lynn on her own with two young daughters, Olivia, now eleven, and Francesca, eight.

But despite Lynn’s heartache, she managed to find love once again and is now preparing to wed her devoted fiance Ronnie, 45.

Lynn, 44, said: “I had no idea about it all at first, the girls made the video without me knowing, it was very sweet of them.

“My friend Ashley has been a woman on a mission to try and get this organised for me, she’s incredible.” Greatest Day and Patience singer Gary challenges social media users to create as big a campaign as possible to convince him that he should come and sing at their wedding.

The 43-year-old created a whirlwind after telling Twitter followers: “Every week I receive thousands of requests to sing at someone’s wedding, and because of this, in 2015 I want to sing at three weddings”.

Lynn’s close friend, Ashley Wallace — who helped start the campaign named ‘Lynn and Ronnie’s Happy Every After — said it would be a ‘dream come true’ if Gary made the appearance.

And, after tweeting to him last week, Ashley was delighted to report back that he had retweeted a video of Lynn’s daughters along with the caption ‘gorgeous.’ Ashley, 28, from Johnstone, said: “Gary Barlow has made it known that he will make surprise appearances at three weddings this year if he is stalked enough on Twitter and superfan status is shown.

“Lynn lost her husband very suddenly and Lynn was on her own for two and a half years and then she met Ronnie and has not looked back.

“They are so in love and thoroughly deserve the happiness they have brought each other. Lynn is a wonderful caring sincere funny friend and anyone who meets her can’t help but like her.

“Ronnie is an amazing special father to Lucas, who is five, and has taken the brave step of walking into a family that was previously heartbroken by the death of such an important and amazing man.” Lynn’s close friends have now set up the Facebook page ‘Get Gary Barlow to The Wedding’ and also started the hashtag #LynnAndRonniesHappyEverAfter for Twitter users in a bid to get Gary Barlow to be part of the big day.

Ashley, who is also babysitter to Lynn’s daughters, has already sent more than 600 tweets to the singer in a bid to catch his attention.

The social media campaign has started off well, with Lynn’s daughters also posting a video on YouTube as a way of spreading the word.

Daughter Francesca says in the video: “We want to give mum and Ronnie the best wedding ever — and we need your help,” before her sister, Olivia, pitches in: “In 2010, our dad died. Mum was on her own for two and a half years. Then she met Ronnie – Ronnie and mum love each other so much.

“They have their special song called Rule The World. They’re going to see you in concert in March. It would mean the world to us if you could come.” Gary Barlow attended a Scottish wedding in 2009 when band colleague Mark Owen and Emma Ferguson were married at Cawdor Parish Church.

Lynn and Ronnie are getting married on July 23 this year and said they hope it will be “the most special day of our lives.” “I was myself for two and a half years after I lose my husband Bill and it was such a shock,” Lynn said.

“I decided to get back into work and I met Ronnie, we clicked instantly and we’re very happy.”
