RENFREW Juniors continued their fine form in the league thanks to a 2-0 win away to Vale of Clyde on Saturday.

Colin Clark and Martin Ferry’s side travelled to Fullarton Park full of optimism, and they would depart with all three points despite a tricky affair.

New signing Chris Zok started up front, will Ross Loughlin will have to wait another week to make his debut.

Zok opened his Frew account for a second time, will Chris Gilmour found the back of the net to seal the victory.

Manager Clark reserved special praise for the side, while insisting they would have to improve if they have any ambitions of gaining promotion.

The victory takes them second top of the league, behind frontrunner Rossvale on goal difference.
