St Mirren are set to unveil former Hibernian boss Alan Stubbs as their new manager.
Stubbs, 46, was interviewed for the post earlier this week and it is understood he has now accepted an offer to move into the Paisley hot-seat.
The former Everton and Celtic defender emerged as the Buddies' preferred candidate after an interview process which also led to talks taking place with Gary Caldwell, Jim McIntyre and Oran Kearney.
Stubbs led Hibs to a first Scottish Cup triumph in 114 years before leaving Easter Road to take on the manager's role at Rotherham.
However, he left the English club after a short and unsuccessful spell and has been out of management since October 2016.
Stubbs arrives at Saints to succeed Jack Ross, who left for Sunderland after guiding the Paisley team to promotion to the Scottish Premiership last season.
