JOHNSTONE Burgh manager George Walker blasted sick vandals who damaged Keanie Park before their vital game against Royal Albert.
It is the second time the stadium has been wrecked in the past nine months, after yobs caused £10,000 worth of damage in June last year.
Walker revealed the thugs would cost the club a four-figure sum this time around but thankfully for the Burgh, the damage wasn't as severe as the last attack on the ground.
He said: "It's murder for this to happen again to the club.
"They have come in and damaged the wall and dug up the park. It is a shame but we have done everything we can.
"We will just have to put up with it.
"The club secretary Ricky Cantwell has been in touch with the police and they are keeping an eye on it.
"The problems have been repaired and there is no lasting damage."
The club groundsmen worked miracles to repair the damage caused to the turf by the vandals.
But, despite this sterling work being done in time for Saturday's fixture against Royal Albert, the game was cancelled due to a frozen pitch.
Walker was disappointed the match was postponed, but is looking forward to Saturday's encounter with promotion chasers Shettleston.
He added: "Most of the park was playable and it was actually looking terrific, but one side of the park was rock hard.
"The referee inspected the pitch and I think if the sun was out it would have gone ahead.
"But we play Shettleston on Saturday which will be a big game for us.
"We will be looking for revenge against them as we were beaten 3-1 last time we played them."
Weather permitting, Johnstone Burgh's league clash with Shettleston takes place on Saturday (kick-off at 2pm).
