Ropey defence costs Renfrew

RAGING: Colin Clark was unhappy with Renfrew's defending as goals from Chris Zok and Graham Mort, pictured, weren't enough
COLIN Clark blamed Renfrew's ropey defence for another disappointing defeat on Saturday.
The Western Park side looked like they would go on to secure their second win of the season against Hurlford United on Saturday.
Goals from Chris Zok, Graham Mort and Willie Saywers should have given them all three points.
However, United hit back after some dodgy defending helped them net four times.
Clark believes the Frew must become more solid at the back and in midfield if they are to progress in the league this season.
He said: "I'm gutted after Saturday. We have not defended well at all in the last few weeks and it happened again.
"We have scored enough goals to win the game but we have conceded 10 goals so far this season.
"It's something we will need to look at. It's just poor defending, there is no explanation for it.
"If someone scores a great goal I'll be the first to give them credit but the goals we've been conceding have been poor.
"The boys up front are doing their jobs and coming off the pitch gutted.
"To be fair it's a collective responsibility as we have had crosses coming in from midfield which should be dealt with."
Renfrew meet Kilsyth Rangers at Abbey Park on Saturday, kick-off 2pm.
