RENFREW manager Colin Clark reckons his side have a great chance of knocking Sauchie out of the Emirates Junior Cup after seeing them battle to a well-earned draw.

Chris Zok cancelled out Bryan Morgan's goal to take the tie to a replay for Renfrew, without free-scoring Willie Sawyers.

And Clark believes the Frew caused the East of Scotland side more than enough problems at Western Park on Saturday to convince him they have a real opportunity to reach the third round.

He told Gazette Sport: "I thought they shaded the first half but we were better in the second half.

"All in all we can't be too disappointed with the draw and we are still in the cup.

"And we did it without the guy who is scoring most of our goals. The players deserve credit for doing it without him.

"Willie has another week so we will see. There's still a lot of pressure on his ankle so we will just need to see how he is.

"He's got a chance of playing but I would say the odds are against him at the moment.

"They are a good side and I think they would be able to compete in our top league.

"We gave them a right good game. I thought it was a tight game and it gives us confidence and a bit of belief."

Renfrew's replay with Sauchie kicks off at 2pm at Beechwood Park on Saturday.
