BURGH bosses Colin Smith and David Brolly will continue to run the rule over a number of trialists this week.
Saturday’s squad which made the trip to Glasgow Perthshire featured former Nottingham Forest and Stranraer youngster Jordan Devine — and he is someone the management are keen to have another look at.
Devine can operate as a striker and also on the wing.
Smith said: “Jordan phoned the committee and asked if he could use our facilities.
“We flung him in for Saturday and although he was playing out of position he handled himself very well.
“We are keen for him to come back in and we are interested in bringing him on board.” One player who will be playing for Burgh this season is Greg Barr.
The defender had been on trial with the club throughout the summer and played a role in the club’s Sectional League Cup campaign but missed Saturday’s tie due to injury.
