Johnstone Burgh produced a great comeback against Vale of Leven to win 3-2 at Millburn Park on Saturday.

David McNaught put the hosts one up on 49 minutes, but the lead didn’t last long, and they were pegged back by former Vale striker Scott Arthur, who scored from the penalty spot.

Two minutes later and the visitors were ahead, Grant Kelly firing home to give Burgh the lead for the first time in the game.

McNaught brought the Vale back level on 68 minutes, grabbing his second goal of the afternoon.

Kelly, however, restored Burgh’s lead four minutes later. Johnstone Burgh next host Carluke Rovers on Saturday.

Meanwhile Renfrew drew 1-1 with Troon at Portland Park.

The hosts took the lead via Tony Murphy, but Kieran Healy hit back to force the Junior Cup tie into a replay, which will take place at New Western Park on Saturday.
