McLINTOCK WILLIAM (WILLIE) formerly of Barrhead, Glasgow, sadly passed away on 13th August 2018, aged 86 years. Funeral service to be held on Wednesday, 19th September at Chelmsford Crematorium, Essex (North Chapel) at 11am. Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, to The Alzheimer's Society c/o Chelmsford Co op Funeral Directors, 78 Broomfield Road, Chelmsford, CM1 1SS Tel: 01245 353 978.

I would like to send my sincere condolences to the family and friends of Willie McLintock who passed away recently. In our youth and early 20's we were great friends, among a group of lads of the same age, few of which still remain alive. Life was much simpler in the 50's but we still found time to enjoy ourselves and found young ladies very interesting. But for the fact that national service interfered with our lives and willie went south and I to the merchant navy and then south I am sure we would have remained close friends.We did correspond whilst I was away. I will conclude with confirming that Willie was a gentleman a Christian and never had a bad word to say of anyone. god bless him. Willie McCredie
