NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN THAT The East Renfrewshire Council propose to make an Order under Section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 which will reduce the current speed limit of 60mph over the following section of the C9 Aurs Road:
Proposed 30mph Speed Limit:
C9Aurs Road:-between its junction with Springfield Road Barrhead and a point 150 metres or thereby northwest of the northern most access lane to Scottish Waters Ryat Lynn Reservoir, a distance of approximately 910 metres.
Proposed 40mph Speed Limit:
C9 Aurs Road: - between a point 150 metres or thereby northwest of the northern most access lane to Scottish Waters Ryat Lynn
Reservoir and the existing 40mph speed limit, approximately
25 metres northwest of its junction with the B769 Stewarton Road, a distance of approximately 1,170 metres.
The order will make it an offence for any person to drive a motor vehicle at a speed exceeding the proposed limits on the above sections of road.
