(Springfield Road, Neilston) (Temporary Restriction to Use of Road) Order 2020

On the 23rd July 2020 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to restrict vehicular access on a section of Springfield Road, Neilston to facilitate the safe operation of essential Scottish Water utility works scheduled to be carried out on

or near this road.

The Order authorises the closure of Springfield Road, Neilston between Kirktonfield Crescent & Springhill Road, Barrhead, and will be in operation from Monday 10 August until Sunday 1 November

2020.

Pedestrian access and access for emergency vehicles attending an incident will be permitted at all times. Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure may be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time.

Alternative Route: Springfield Road -Kirktonfield Road - Neilston Road -

Kelburn Street - Main Street - Ralston

Road - Springhill Road and vice-versa.
