The East Renfrewshire Council (Divernia Way, Barrhead) (Temporary Restriction to Use of Road) Order 2017
On the 2nd August 2017 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order has been promoted to ensure the safety of the general public and of workers carrying out carriageway upgrading works on Divernia Way, Barrhead.
The Temporary Order will permit the closure of  Divernia Way between its junction with Hawthorn Drive to and including its junction with Oakbank Drive and will be in effect from 21st August until 1st September 2017 or on completion of the works if sooner.
Vehicular access to property within the extents of the closure will be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Pedestrian access will be unaffected.
Alternative Route - Oakbank Drive -Fenwick Drive - Roebank Drive - Newton Avenue - Divernia Way and vice-versa.
