THE EAST RENFREWSHIRE COUNCIL (AURS ROAD, BARRHEAD) (TEMPORARY RESTRICTION TO USE OF ROADS) ORDER 2018

On the 17th January 2018 the Council made the above named Order under Section 14 of the RoadTraffic Regulation Act 1984. The Order, which is valid from Friday 9th February untilTuesday 13th February 2018 or on completion of the works if sooner, has been promoted to facilitate carriageway resurfacing works on Aurs Road, Barrhead

whilst ensuring the safety of the workers carrying out the works

and of the general public.

TheTemporary Order will authorise the closure to vehicular traffic on Aurs Road, Barrhead from its junction with Lyoncross Avenue to its junction with Aurs Place.

Vehicular access to properties within the extents of the closure will be permitted by the contractor on site only when it is possible to do so in conjunction with the works going on at the time. Pedestrian access will be unaffected.The works will be phased to allow access and egress to Aursbridge Drive and Lyoncross Avenue as there are no alternative access points. Alternative Routes

Cloth Street-Arthurlie Avenue-Aurs Drive and vice versa.
