Some frightfully-good fun is on offer in Paisley this weekend as it stages its annual Hallowe’en Festival.
The two-day celebration, takes place on Friday and Saturday, with a host of activities offering something for everyone.
The programme includes a Hallowe’en Ball at Paisley Town Hall on Friday night, where revellers can don ghastly costumes and enjoy a night of haunting music.
Also on Friday, budding sleuths can head along to Italian restaurant Zambretto for its Murder Mystery Night.
And there’s fun for kids to enjoy at Paisley Museum’s Friday Fright Night, where they can have a go at arts and crafts, as well as entering a fancy dress competition.
On Saturday, Paisley Town Hall will offer free activities for all the family, including a Hallowe’en market and zombie apocalypse workshops.
Meanwhile, the Village Storytelling Centre at Paisley Abbey will regale visitors with gruesome tales from the town’s past.
Saturday’s activities lead up to a Hallowe’en Parade, which will set off from New Street at 6.30pm and include a fire monster on a Paisley chariot, drummers from arts group Spark! (pictured above) and brightly-coloured LED lanterns.
Once the parade arrives at Abbey Close, a display by Walk the Plank will provide a spectacular finale.
