Tam O Shanter, the world famous prose poem comedy, will feature in a special event at Paisley Abbey on Saturday, December 7– and local drama group Play the Game are issuing an open invitation for youngsters aged 8-18 to get involved.
This is one of the funniest Scottish classics, given a modern day twist and turn - no opportunity for jokes and comic capers is left out! There will be singing and dance routines, as well as lots of opportunity for everyone to shine.
And if you’re not the sort to seek the spotlight – how about getting involved in sound effects, or costume?
Play The Game are a youth drama group partnership between Renfrew Carers Centre, Family Support Group and contemporary arts specialists DCA CIC : based at the beautiful Old Embroidery Mill in central downtown Paisley, they meet on Saturday mornings.
So if you are aged between 8-18 years, and fancy getting involved, casting and rehearsals start on Saturday 26th October at 10.30-1pm, Old Embroidery Mill, Abbeymill Centre in Paisley (opposite Morrisons!) – come along and see what’s going on!
