Bride-to-be Helen Henderson, 19, was pronounced dead after taking a deadly cocktail of drugs at her flat in Paisley Road on Sunday, April 13.

Her lifeless body was found during a 36-hour bash – where it’s thought Helen took Meow Meow and Ketamine. Four other revellers were also hospitalised.

Now police are reiterating a vital message to encourage potential users to stay away from lethal pills and powders.

Chief Inspector Arlene Smith, area commander for Renfrewshire, warned: “Police Scotland is issuing a warning to anyone who has obtained or taken this or similar substances.

“Do not take illicit drugs and stay away from any unknown substances; no one can predict the risks involved or the serious consequences.” In the wake of the devastating news, distraught dad Alex Henderson paid a heartfelt tribute to his tragic daughter, saying he hoped she knew how much he loved her.

He wrote: “Well family and friends my oldest daughter sadly passed away last night now she is with the family and the angels.

“You will be sadly missed by your family love you so much, I hope you knew that. Love Dad until we meet again sweetheart G.B.N.F xxxxx xxxxx xxxxx. xxxx.” He also posted a poignant photo of himself online with his pretty 19–year–old daughter.

Helen’s death shook large segments of the Renfrew community, with many expressing their shock and disbelief over the tragic circumstances.

Ranger’s mad Helen, fiancé Calum Smith, 23, and other pals were said to have been drowning their sorrows after their beloved Ibrox side were sent crashing out of the Scottish Cup by Dundee United.

But the party quickly spilled from Saturday night into Sunday morning, with Helen Tweeting that she had not been to bed yet.

As Sunday wore on the festivities continued, and at some point it’s thought Helen downed the fatal cocktail of Mephedrone and Ketamine.

She passed out on a bed alongside a pal and, after seeing her turn blue, frantic fiancé Calum – who is known to pals as Cal – made a desperate dash for help as he tried to summon neighbours.

On hearing about tragic Helen – who was a member of the Union Bears Supporters’ Group – a section of the Rangers support stayed away from last Tuesday’s home game against Forfar in her honour.

Tributes were paid to the teen by fans at some top European clubs, who displayed a ‘Ciao Helen’ banner and a ‘Lest we forget. RIP Helen’ sign.

Meanwhile, her devastated friends and relatives let off sky lanterns outside Ibrox on April 15 in her honour.

Dad Alex posted online: “I would like to thank everybody that turned up at Ibrox for my daughter Helen.

“She would have been so proud of you all so thanks again love you helen my angel till we meet again.” Medical experts have also urged anyone who may have taken drugs in Renfrewshire this weekend – especially if they are feeling agitated or confused, have a fever or are experiencing tremors – to attend their nearest hospital as a precaution.

A report has been sent to the procurator fiscal to investigate Helen’s death further.
