A GANG of knife-wielding robbers subjected a Johnstone couple to a horror ordeal this week.
The couple, both in their early twenties, were left terrified when three masked raiders barged into their home.
A 25-year-old man answered the door to his house in Elm Drive, and was attacked by three men who sprayed his eyes with incapacitant spray — similar to CS or pepper spray — and threatened him with a knife.
He was left temporarily blinded by the thugs — who stormed into the house and demanded money from him and his partner, a 20-year-old woman.
Police are now appealing for information following the raid which took place at around 11.30pm on Thursday (July 19).
