A JOHNSTONE man has lost his fight for life after a tragic accident in Glasgow.
Mark Lafreniere passed away after suffering devastating injuries when he fell from a flyover.
It's understood the 27-year-old fell 35ft onto a bin which broke his fall and helped him survive the initial impact.
He was rushed to hospital but has since died as a result of his injuries.
His brother Keiran paid tribute to his sibling and opened a Go Fund Me page to help the family with funeral costs.
Thanking the many people who have shown support in the wake of the tragedy, Keiran wrote: “As you all have heard, sadly Mark has passed away after fighting for his life in hospital after falling from a bridge in Glasgow.
“God only takes the best. He will be truly missed by both friends and family.”
Mark fell in the early hours of Sunday, March 27, close to the Hilton Hotel.
The fund has already reached £950 with people continuing to donate and add their own tributes.
