FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a convenience store in Johnstone after a fire broke out this morning.
Two engines were seen outside the Key Store on Graham Street at around 5.30am.
There appears to have been a fault with the cash machine which caused a surge.
Some of the nearby buildings and properties nearby have lost power however engineers are currently fixing the problem.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: “At 5.20am on Thursday, August 3 we were alerted to reports of a fire at a business premises on Graham Street in Johnstone.
“Two appliances were immediately mobilised and crews extinguished the fire and made the area safe before leaving the scene – there were no casualties.”
