A BUSY Renfrewshire road was closed off to motorists following a two-car crash.
The B775 Gleniffer Road between Paisley and Muirhouse Farm at Sergeantlaw Road was shut at around 8am following the incident.
Snow falling onto freezing road surfaces this morning made driving conditions difficult on high routes.
No one was seriously injured in the crash and the road has since reopened.
A Renfrewshire Council spokesman said: “A temporary road closure was in place at Gleniffer Road to enable two vehicles to be recovered following separate accidents.
"Police Scotland attended and the road is fully open.”
Forecast is for temperatures to lift later in morning with snow turning to sleet and rain later in day.
