A TEENAGE girl is among three people in hospital after taking unwell at a dance music event in Glasgow.

The revellers were rushed to hospital during Coloursfest 2018 at Braehead Arena.

The 19-year-old was taken to Glasgow's Queen Elizabeth University Hospital where her condition was described as 'critical' but has since been improved.

Police are now investigating whether the incidents are drug related.

A spokeswoman for Police Scotland said: "An investigation into how they became unwell is ongoing.

"The incidents are not thought to be linked."

Coloursfest is Scotland's longest running dance music event and attracts thousands of fans every year.

The event kicked off at 5pm on Saturday August 4 and wrapped up around 4am on Sunday morning.
