A busy Renfrewshire street will be closed next week so that resurfacing works can take place.
Linwood Road will shut between Main Road and East Avenue for two weeks on Monday, October 15 while the works are carried out.
ROADWORKS UPDATE: Linwood Rd (at Phoenix retail park) will shut from Main Rd to East Av for resurfacing for two weeks from Mon 15 Oct. This only affects Linwood-bound carriageway (both lanes). Local access will be maintained for nearby housing estates. Diversion will be in place

The closure will only affect both lanes of the Linwood-bound carriageway.
As a result of the works, the McGill's number 7 service will be diverted towards Linwood only, via: Paisley Town Centre (same side as Piazza), Smithhills St, Sneddon St, St James St, Caledonia St, St James roundabout, A737, Linwood Slip Rd, turning at McDonald's roundabout on Linwood Rd.
The service will operate the normal route towards Paisley.
Locals will also still be allowed access if they live in the nearby housing estates but for all other traffic diversions will be in place.
