A road has been closed in Lochwinnoch due to risk of flooding as more and more rain batters the west coast of Scotland.
The A760 which runs directly between Barr Loch and Castle Semple Loch has been closed temporarily while a yellow weather warning and high risk of flooding remain in place across Glasgow and the West.
Those travelling to Lochwinnoch are advised to follow diversions through Beith or Kilbirnie for access.
Issued by the Met Office, the yellow weather warning will be in place until midnight this evening.
Forecasters have warned that there is a small chance of fast flowing or deep floodwater causing danger to life
Whilst spray and flooding could lead to difficult driving conditions and some road closures.
