Visitors to a pair of Renfrewshire pubs have plenty to celebrate as a 12-day beer festival gets underway.
Dozens of tipples from independent British craft brewers are on offer at The Last Post, in County Square, Paisley, and The Lord of the Isles, in King’s Inch Road, Renfrew.
Each of the brewers is a member of SIBA – the organisation that promotes small independent brewers and their beers.
A number of beers have been been brewed exclusively for the festival, which started on Wednesday and runs until Sunday, October 21. There are also five UK-produced ciders on offer.
Jason Laurie, manager at The Last Post, said: “The festival is the perfect opportunity to showcase the wonderful range of beers from independent brewers.
“It will give people the opportunity to enjoy a superb selection of the beers they brew, many of which have not been served in the pub before. The festival promises to be great fun.”
Tasting notes of all of the drinks on offer are available in both pubs.
