Pupils learned about where food comes from
A GROUP of green-fingered pupils were growing their own vegetables as part of a new school initiative ten years ago.
The kids from Thorn Primary, in Johnstone, registered for the Morrisons Let’s Grow campaign in 2008.
A school spokeswoman said: “We hope to grow our own fruit and vegetables, teaching the pupils that food doesn’t just come from supermarkets.”
