Intu Braehead came 14th in the whole of the UK and was ranked the best in Scotland. Other intu centres throughout the country also featured in eight of the top 20 places in the survey

Peter Beagley, regional director with responsibility for intu Braehead said: “We’re obviously very pleased to have been given the honour of being rated the top shopping centre in Scotland, but we’re not resting on our laurels.

“We are always looking at ways to improve the experience of visitors coming to the centre and give the wide variety of retailers who have chosen to be here a superb platform to do business.

“Our leisure and dining offer, along with events like our recent Baby Shark Dance charity fundraising event, which attracted almost a thousand people to the mall on a Monday morning, are key to keeping intu Braehead at the forefront of people’s minds when they decide where they will go to do their shopping.”
