Road closed for emergency gas repairs
EMERGENCY gas repairs have forced the closure of a busy village road this morning.
The A760 just outside Lochwinnoch between the Roadhead Roundabout and Lochwinnoch train station remains closed while Scottish Gas Network engineers carry out the repairs.
Access to The Loch House will be maintained for westbound traffic and, eastbound traffic approaching from Lochall Bridge will be able to access the train station.
Diversions are in place for motorists via the A737, the B777, Holmhead, Avils Place and Newton Place.
It’s too early to say how long our repairs will take, but we’ll keep you updated here.
