A PREDATOR whose reign of terror spanned nearly ten years and nine victims was today (Wednesdsay) found guilty of 15 counts of sexual assault.

Graeme Brown, 32, subjected his victims to the "most horrific" abuse in Erskine, Paisley, and parts of Glasgow between 2006 and 2015.

In total, Brown was found to have seriously sexually assaulted seven women and two men.

He was found guilty at the High Court in Glasgow.

Detective Inspector Louise Harvie, Rape Investigation Unit, said: “Brown is a despicable individual who preyed on his victims in Glasgow, Paisley and Erskine between 2006 and 2015, subjecting them to the most horrific abuse that will stay with them for the rest of their lives.

“Despite the terrifying ordeal that he subjected them to, they have had the courage to speak out about what happened to them and their information has been crucial to this investigation.

“I would like to thank them for their bravery in what must have been a daunting task to report him to police and then to have the courage to provide their evidence in court.

“We are committed to supporting victims of sexual crimes and investigating those responsible regardless of when they took place. They can be assured of being fully supported by officers and our partner agencies.

“I would also like to thank the dedicated team of officers who worked on this investigation over a six month period resulting in justice for the victims.”

Anyone with information or concerns about sexual crime can contact Police Scotland on 101.  Alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.

Brown is due to be sentenced on Thursday, November 29.
