TRAFFIC is moving again after the M8 near the Erskine Bridge was cleared following a five car smash earlier this morning.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at around 7.55am and say as many as 15 cars may have been involved in the pile up that followed the incident.
Traffic was brought to a standstill eastbound at J30 near the bridge following the collision.

Getting reports in of a multi-vehicle RTC #M8 E/B J30 Erskine Bridge - J31. No cameras in the area but police are en-route.@ScotTranserv
The eastbound lane remained closed for nearly three hours, although police allowed some vehicles to use the hard shoulder.
But, the vehicles involved have now been cleared and traffic is beginning to return to normal.
Cops say they believe no one was seriously hurt in the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "We were called to the scene at around 7.55am after reports of a five vehicle smash at J30 eastbound.
Due to a bad road accident between J31 - J30 Erskine Bridge, our services 901, 906, 907, x22 & X7 are currently delayed. Emergency services are now allowing traffic to run on the hard shoulder, it is crawling by though so delays may take a while to clear. pic.twitter.com/z4hN10xV02
