Courageous couples are being sought for a new television programme which will 'drive' viewers to the edge of their seats.

The new show, Test Drive, which is being created for BBC Scotland, involves taking a road-trip across the country in teams of two.

And as well as getting behind the wheel to enjoy the Caledonian countryside, contestants will also be en-route to potentially winning a cash prize.

The Gazette:

The car-based programme, developed by Bandicoot TV, is not solely aimed at romantic partners but is also open to family members, friends and work colleagues.

With filming taking place between December 3 and 14, producers are keen for hopeful contestants to get in touch as soon as possible.

The driver within the duo must be over 21 years old and have held a valid full clean UK driving licence for at least a year.
