POLICE are appealing for information after hundreds of pounds was stolen from a popular Renfrew bar in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Cleaners in the Flying Scotsman, Broadloan, discovered the break-in and found a three-figure sum of cash nicked from the pub's fruit machines.
CCTV revealed a figure looking in the pub at around 1.40am, who then proceeded to smash and window and make off with the money.
Officers don't have a description of the crook, but believe it was a male.
Anyone with any information should contact police on 101.
