NEW plans have been submitted for a McDonald's drive-thru restaurant in Glasgow's East End.
Glasgow City Council received a planning application this week for the premises on Auchinlea Way, which is a site near the city's Glasgow Fort in Easterhouse.
Permission is being sought by the fast food giants for the right to display various illuminated and non-illuminated signage in the area of the proposed drive-thru and the restaurant.
A decision is expected on the plans by January 4.
