FIREFIGHTERS are tackling a blaze within a building in the Scotstoun area of Dumbarton Road.
Crews rushed to the scene before noon on Wednesday to tackle the fire.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said no one was injured.
A spokeswoman added: “The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service was alerted at 11.40am on Wednesday, November 14 to reports of a fire within a building.
“Operations Control immediately mobilised a number of resources to Dumbarton Road in Glasgow.
“Firefighters extinguished the fire and are presently ensuring that the area is made safe.
“There are no casualties.”
Dumbarton Road is closed between Earl Place and Harland Street, and motorists are asked to avoid the area.
