A CELTIC supporters group has donated £500 to Renfrewshire Foodbank.
As part of its food drive for 2018, the Green Brigade raised more than £16,000 for services to help those who struggle to make ends meet.
Elizabeth Alexander, Renfrewshire Foodbank manager, has thanked all those who made donations.

She said: “Thank you to everyone who has donated to our Christmas fundraising appeal, including the Green Brigade who handed in a wonderful £500 for our funds.
“We really appreciate all of your help. People often have not eaten for a couple of days when they come to us.
“Your donations enable us to help relieve the hunger and guide people to help to get back on their feet.”
During 2017/18, Renfrewshire Foodbank provided emergency food for 8,600 people – of which approximately 2,400 were children.
It is appealing for cash and food donations as Christmas approaches.

Cash donations can be made securely online at give.net/foodbankchristmas.
Alternatively, donations can be made by printing a form from renfrewshire.foodbank.org.uk/give-help/donate-money and posting the completed version to Renfrewshire Foodbank, Westway, Porterfield Road, Renfrew, PA4 8DJ.
Cheques should be made payable to Renfrewshire Foodbank.
