A YELLOW weather warning has been issued for Wednesday as high winds are expected to batter East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire.
The Met Office is warning people to expect delays to transport with gusts of up to 60mph affecting the area from 9am until 9pm.
Wind speeds are expected to increase throughout the day as the weather moves north through the country.

In other parts Scotland and the rest of the UK, a yellow weather warning has been issued for rain with flooding and chaos to transport expected.
While it is set to rain in both East Renfrewshire and Renfrewshire on Wednesday, there is no warning in place as of yet.
