Police hunt thug after bottle attack in Johnstone
POLICE are hunting a thug who hit a man over the head with a bottle in Johnstone.
A 41-year-old man from Howwood was attacked by another man while he was getting off a bus just before 3am today in Thorn Brae.
The victim was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Paisley where he received stitches after sustaining a cut above his eye. He has since been discharged.
Police have said the attacker was known to the victim.
If anyone has any information about the incident, call officers immediately on 101.
